About The Event
The 2025 Zone Competition will occur at separate locations for the instrumental competition and the competition.
The instrumental competition will take place at Hiway Church located at 50 Anne St North in Barrie
The vocal competition will take place at the home of Heather Faris located at 5684 13th Line, New Tecumseth.
Level 10/Associate Instrumental: –$55 Competitors must be studying at Level/Grade 10 and/or Associate to take part in the Provincial Instrumental Competition - Level 10 and/or Associate.
A list of Provincial Level Prizes and Awards is available under the Prizes tab on this page of the Provincial website. Please consider this when making repertoire choices for your program.
All repertoire in the program must be at Conservatory Level/Grade 10 and/or Associate and must be taken from any officially recognized Canadian syllabus, details of which competitors will indicate on their application form.

North Central Zone Competition The 2022 Zone Competition will be held virtually via YouTube Submission. Please submit one YouTube link per piece. Performers should not announce their pieces in the video. Instead, please put the performer's name, piece and composer in the title of the video. A separate PDF of each score need to be submitted to barrie.ormta@gmail.com at time of registration. Please review rules prior to registration on the events page.
