Susan Pajor was born and educated in Hungary, Europe. She studied at the music art school: Kodály Zoltán Conservatory of Music in Debrecen. Her teaching and training as a musician includes the famous Kodály - method. She received her musical and pedagogical studies at the Szent István University in Jászberény, Hungary and she maintains to enrich her knowledge by participating in Teachers' Summits and workshops year by year across Canada.
She has been teaching music since 1983: 10 years in Hungary at the Palotásy J. Music School where she taught piano and music theory.
She is an active member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association (ORMTA). Mrs. Pajor is the treasurer in the association for several years now and helps the association by volunteering her time alongside her busy teaching schedule.
She has been teaching in Canada since 1993 as a private music teacher and established Accent Piano School in Barrie in 1999.
Mrs. Pajor is a CERTIFIED teacher by the Royal Conservatory of Music as SPECIALIST in Elementary, Intermediate , Advanced PIANO, and Elementary and Intermediate THEORY.
Her enthusiasm, encouragement, commitment and love of music inspire her students. Her students are winners of music competitions in the Barrie Music Festival. Year after year they bring in 30-40 awards. Many of her students reached provincial competition levels and been recognized. Many of her students are honoured with scholarships by the Barrie Music Festival Assotiation . Year by year she sends large numbers of students for the Royal Conservatory of Music Exams and her ORMTA Branch recognizes her students for these top achievements in piano and music theory.
Mrs. Pajor was recognized as a special teacher and received in 2016 from ORMTA the Outstanding Contribution to Teaching Award.
